About 185 people attended a Firefighter Recruit Preparation Seminar on Dec. 15, 2007. The event was held at Fire Station 21 in Glendale and provided information on a wide array of topics helpful to prospective firefighter candidates.

If you're at least 19 years of age and you have little or no fire service experience, consider applying for the GFD Cadet Program, which provides an opportunity to learn firsthand what a career in the fire service is all about. Just fill out an application for the position of Fire Cadet.
